In 2016, a sports biomechanist and a third-generation textile engineer kept seeing the same thing at Indian training grounds: world-class athletes in kit built for somebody else's climate. Nobody had designed for the athletes who trained at 5 AM because it was the only cool hour of the day.

So Meera Rajgopal and Arjun Malhotra built the company backwards: start with the hardest conditions on Earth — an Indian May — then tune the fabric until it met podium standards.
